FARM ACCOMODATION AND HUNT

Orpa is a game and cattle ranch and in the rainy season we plant some corn.

Hunters will enjoy the warm family atmosphere of a real Namibian farm house.

Rooms are separate with own bathing facilities with hot and cold running water and meets the standards of the Namibian Nature Conservation and the Namibian Tourism Board.

Full electricity is provided. (220 volts)

An outdoor fireplace and patio provide a place to relax after a day of hunting.

Then a cold beer or soft drink tastes at its best.

The day starts off early with breakfast, followed with the daily hunt : driving with vehicle, walk and stalk, following tracks and sitting in heights at waterholes.

Lunch and dinner also served.

HUNTING AREA AND LOCATION...

The nearest town is Otjiwarongo 100 km away. Most of the hunting takes place in the northern part of Namibia.

Exceptions can be made for hunting in the central part of the country.

Free roaming Mountain Zebra, Damara Dik-Dik and Klipspringer are hunted in the north west of Namibia. Kudu, Gemsbok, Duiker, Steenbok and Giraffe is also available in that area.

Animals like Waterbuck and Impala are hunted in high fenced areas only.

This is to enable the tour guide to make reservations at the rest camps etc.

Fishing trips can also be arranged.

We are located in a malaria-free zone in the northern central part of the Otjozondjupa region of Namibia.
